Health, Care & Wellbeing
At New Moston Primary School, we want every child to feel safe, supported and able to take a full part in school life.
Some children may need additional support because of a medical condition, allergy, temporary injury, personal care need or emotional wellbeing concern. We work closely with children, families and relevant professionals to make sure appropriate arrangements are in place and understood by the staff who need to know.
Our approach is centred on the individual child. Where additional support is required, we will work with parents and carers to understand the child’s needs, consider any reasonable adjustments and put appropriate plans or arrangements in place.

Working With Families
Parents and carers know their children best. We therefore ask families to keep us informed about any medical condition, allergy, medication, care requirement or significant change that may affect their child in school.
Where a child requires an individual plan, this will normally be developed with the parent or carer and, where appropriate, the child and relevant healthcare professionals.
If you are unsure which type of support your child may need, please contact the school office or speak to a member of our Pastoral or Inclusion Team.
