Leadership & Governance
Strong leadership and effective governance are central to ensuring that New Moston Primary School continues to improve and provides the best possible education for its pupils.
Our school leaders are responsible for setting high expectations, maintaining a clear strategic direction and ensuring that the school’s vision is reflected in everyday practice.
They work closely with staff, pupils, families and governors to evaluate the school’s work, identify priorities for improvement and ensure that decisions are focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for children.
School Leadership
Our Senior Leadership Team provides strategic and operational leadership across the school.
The team oversees areas including teaching and learning, inclusion, safeguarding, behaviour, curriculum development, staff development and school improvement.
Governance
Our Governing Body provides strategic oversight and holds school leaders to account for the educational and financial performance of the school.
Governors work with leaders to:
- set and maintain the strategic direction of the school;
- monitor educational performance and school improvement;
- ensure resources are used effectively;
- fulfil statutory responsibilities; and
- support and challenge school leaders.
