WELCOME TO WALK THE PREMIER LEAGUE
Step Up for School Communities
Walk the Premier League is a 1,000+ mile national challenge led by headteacher Peter Stewart, walking between all 20 Premier League football stadiums to stand up for safer, stronger, opportunity-rich school communities.
It is a movement created for:
-
children
-
families
-
schools
-
communities
-
leaders
-
organisations
-
anyone who believes every child deserves a better future
This challenge blends endurance, leadership and community action — and invites people from across the UK to step up in their own way.
WHY WE WALK
Primary-aged children across the country are growing up in communities that need:
-
safer spaces
-
greater opportunities
-
stronger support
-
more positive role models
-
real investment in wellbeing and enrichment
Walk the Premier League exists to shine a light on these challenges and take meaningful action.
Every mile walked…
every school joined…
every child involved…
brings us closer to a stronger future for school communities across the country.
A NATIONAL MOVEMENT WITH LOCAL IMPACT
The walk creates two levels of impact:
⭐ 1. The North Manchester Primary Sport & Community Hub
A first-of-its-kind facility dedicated to primary-aged children, funded by central challenge partnerships.
⭐ 2. Step Up for Your School
Schools nationwide can join the walk and raise money directly for their own pupils.
100% of what a school raises stays in that school.
Every community benefits when it takes part.
