Walk and Talk Guest

Walk a Mile. Share Your Voice. Inspire a Movement.

Walk the Premier League isn’t just a physical challenge — it’s a national conversation about the pressures facing school communities and the power of leadership, action and hope.

Along the route, Peter is inviting Walk & Talk Guests to join him for short sections of the journey. These guests bring insight, inspiration and lived experience that help shine a light on the issues affecting children, families and schools across the country.

Whether you’re a headteacher, educator, community leader, sports figure, safeguarding specialist, parent, charity representative or someone with a story that matters — we would love to walk with you.

What Is a Walk & Talk Guest?

A Walk & Talk Guest joins Peter for a short, pre-arranged part of the route to:

  • share personal or professional insights

  • talk about the challenges facing communities

  • highlight powerful work happening in schools or organisations

  • inspire others with their experience, leadership or message

  • raise awareness of local needs or positive change

  • help amplify the campaign’s mission

These conversations help create authentic storytelling moments, powerful content for social media, and a richer national picture of what school communities are experiencing.

Who Can Take Part?

Walk & Talk Guests include:

  • headteachers and school leaders

  • community workers

  • grassroots sports coaches

  • parents or carers with lived experience

  • public sector professionals

  • youth or mental health workers

  • charity leads and volunteers

  • safeguarding or behaviour specialists

  • local heroes

  • public figures who support children and communities

If you have a voice worth hearing — this movement has space for you.

What Will Happen During Your Walk & Talk?

Walks are calm, informal and conversation-led.
You will:

  • meet Peter at an agreed start point

  • walk a short distance along the official route (typically 1–2 miles)

  • share your experience, insights or story

  • film short clips (optional) for the campaign’s digital storytelling

  • take part in photos or interviews (optional)

  • help raise awareness of the challenge and the issues that matter to you

Every conversation helps us paint a more complete picture of school and community life across the UK.

Why Take Part?

  • Your voice will help shape a national narrative.

  • You will inspire others through your lived experience or leadership.

  • You will help raise awareness of children’s needs and the importance of community.

  • You will become part of the Walk the Premier League story.

  • You will contribute to meaningful, lasting change through the development of the North Manchester Primary Sport & Community Hub.

This is your chance to stand up, speak up and walk for something that matters.
